Oceania, aquatic nymph. She is one of the companions of Persephone, goddess of Spring. She is therefore associated with a beautiful young woman, wearing flowers, graceful and majestic. Her role is to watch over the watercourse which was assigned to her, but also to watch over the childhood of young boys.
The Océane cuvée comes from vines planted in an area classified as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, between two emblems of the Rhone Valley: the Mont Ventoux, and the Dentelles de Montmirail. These clay and limestone soils are ideal for the production of light, fine, elegant and fruity wines.
This AOC Ventoux white 2022 is composed of 30% Rolle, 30% Grenache blanc, 15% Marsanne, 15% Roussanne, and 10% Clairette. Rolle, Marsanne and Roussanne are aromatic grapes. They bring to the wine those crunchy fruits that make all the difference. The white Grenache and Clairette, on the other hand, give the structure that allows the white wines to be appreciated young.
The vines from which this cuvée is made are harvested by hand with respect for nature, so that they are damaged as little as possible and continue to give excellent berries. Each grape variety is then vinified separately so that each can fully express its characteristics.
